How we work
We organize the job around what caused the water because a burst supply line, an AC drain, and a storm backup leave different water and call for different things to be taken out. We take moisture readings every day and write them down by room. The drying equipment comes out when those readings match a dry room.
We take out only what the readings or the kind of water tell us has to go. The photos and readings stay with you for your insurer. After drying, we can hang and finish drywall, put back insulation and baseboards, and paint. Or we can hand the open walls to your contractor.
What we leave to others
We don’t fix the source of the water, so a plumber handles pipes, water heaters, slab leaks, and supply lines, a roofer handles the roof, and an HVAC tech handles the AC drain. Flooring and cabinets go to the installer you pick. We’ll point out mold we find and keep mold removal separate, and the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) says to make sure a mold professional has a state license. We don’t bill insurers or negotiate claims, so the claim stays between you and your insurance company.
